I am a native English speaker from the United States with proficiency in German. I have years of experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages and levels- from elementary children to university students and adults. My educational background consists of degrees in Germanic Studies, Anthropology, and Religious Studies/Philosophy, and a TEFL diploma that includes experience with Business English if that is important to you.

I am currently based in Berlin, so I would be happy to meet you at your preferred location in the city. I am happy to travel a bit if you think we could work well together. I always encourage an initial discussion so we can decide on the right path of instruction for you, and if my teaching style is in line either your English learning goals.

If you are a German speaker, sometimes it is helpful in your studies to have a trainer who can help explain various concepts in your native language when you are stuck on a particular subject. If you are a non-native English or German speaker, you have the opportunity to learn both English and German basics at the same time!!

If you are studying for exams or just want to learn how to communicate in your travels, I am happy to help design a tutoring/training schedule for you that suits your best interests, whether it is learning basics from the ground up, polishing your grammar and vocabulary, or exercising your speaking skills in free speech sessions- the path is up to you!!
