Asima Hoosen

was a Homeroom Teacher for Grade 1 at the Inspire International Academy for Girls for 4 years. I also
have experience in teaching as a homeroom teacher a Nabeel Abed Academy for 5 years. As you will
see in my resume, I have 1-year experience at each institute, at the Department of Anatomy in Durban’s
University of Technology and University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) Nelson R. Mandela School of
Medicine, as an assistant Lecturer in Anatomy. Both of the positions mentioned above involved assisting
the lecturer in conducting the anatomy practical classes and assessments.
My main goal is to motivate students to do their best and extend their own personal limits. I devise
programs, according to syllabus requirements, that expand on previous knowledge and encourage
students to explore new and interesting possibilities. I encourage students to construct their own learning
in an environment that stimulates and helps students to realize their full potential.
