With more than 20 years of teaching under my belt, I bring not only deep subject knowledge but also refined teaching methods and strong awareness regarding my students' wants and needs. I have learnt over time that effective lessons balance structure with flexibility. Therefore, I use communicative and task-based methods, ensuring that students practice real-life skills while also mastering grammar and vocabulary. I give learners the chance to use English actively and confidently through activities such as role-plays, debates, shadowing exercises, and project-based tasks that I prepare and adapt to the learners’ needs and level. These activities integrate all four skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—and highlight cultural aspects of English at the same time in order to make the learning process richer and more engaging. In my lessons, I create a supportive atmosphere where mistakes are treated as opportunities to learn, not discouraging errors.

I started teaching English at higher-education institutions in Greece and Turkey in classroom situations. But I started teaching exlclusively on line in 2016, which enabled me to stay updated with new technologies and teaching trends, while drawing on their experience to manage time, motivate learners, and balance the lesson flow. I see myself as not just an instructor but a true facilitator of growth thanks to my passion for teaching and empathy for students.
