I have over five years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to learners ranging from secondary school students to adults. My teaching covers grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and examination preparation.
I adopt an eclectic teaching approach, selecting methods according to learners’ needs, proficiency levels, and learning goals. For grammar instruction, I often use the Grammar-Translation Method (GTM) to help students understand complex structures through clear explanations and contextual examples. To improve speaking and listening skills, I incorporate techniques from the Audio-Lingual Method (ALM), including repetition, drills, and guided practice. I also employ Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) to encourage meaningful interaction and real-life language use.
My lessons are learner-centered, interactive, and outcome-oriented. I break down difficult grammatical and syntactic concepts into simple, understandable steps and help students apply them in practical situations. I regularly use discussions, role-plays, problem-solving activities, and authentic materials to keep learners engaged.
Beyond language instruction, I assist students with homework, academic writing, and competitive examination preparation. My goal is not only to improve students’ English proficiency but also to develop their confidence, critical thinking, and independent learning abilities.
