Hi! I’m Ana Beatriz, a native Portuguese speaker with fluent English and a genuine love for working with children. I have hands-on experience as a teaching assistant and au pair, which means I’m comfortable, patient, and creative when it comes to engaging young learners.

My lessons are relaxed and playful — I adapt to each child’s personality and learning pace rather than following a rigid structure. For children under 10, I focus on building confidence first: through games, storytelling, songs, and conversation, kids naturally start to enjoy the language without feeling pressured.

Whether your child is a complete beginner or just needs a little extra practice, I’m here to make English feel approachable and fun. I currently live in Portugal and offer lessons online, making it easy to fit sessions into your family’s schedule.
I believe that the early years are the most powerful time for language learning — children absorb new sounds and words with incredible ease when they feel safe and motivated. That’s why I always start by getting to know each child: their interests, their favourite stories, what makes them laugh. From there, I build lessons around things they already love, so English becomes part of their world naturally. I also keep parents informed along the way, sharing small updates on progress and what we’ve been working on together. Learning a language is a journey, and I’m here to make every step of it enjoyable and rewarding for both the child and the family.
