I am an experienced teacher and curriculum developer with over 10 years of experience working with students from different educational backgrounds. I have taught English, reading, writing, and primary subjects while also designing learning materials aligned with the Cambridge, Australian, and IB curricula.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit each learner's pace, strengths, and goals. Rather than relying on memorization, I focus on helping students understand concepts, build confidence, and apply what they learn in meaningful ways.
My lessons are interactive and engaging. I use a variety of teaching strategies, including guided reading, creative writing, discussion-based learning, visual resources, and educational games where appropriate. I also integrate digital learning tools such as Canva, Kahoot, Nearpod, Padlet, and Wordwall to make lessons more enjoyable and effective.
For younger learners, I create a supportive environment where learning feels fun and encouraging. For older students, I focus on improving critical thinking, writing skills, reading comprehension, exam preparation, and independent learning habits.
As a curriculum coordinator, I have also developed lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments, giving me a strong understanding of how learning progresses across different year levels. This allows me to quickly identify learning gaps and create targeted lessons that help students make steady progress.
Above all, I want my students to enjoy learning, ask questions with confidence, and leave every lesson feeling that they have learned something new. I believe that patience, encouragement, and consistency are the keys to helping every student succeed.
