Every lesson is different because every student is different. I don't follow a one-size-fits-all curriculum I build each lesson around the student in front of me, their goals, their gaps, and the way they learn best.

I use a communicative approach, the focus is always on real, practical English rather than endless grammar rules.We speak, we listen, we read and we write in context, using language that is actually useful in everyday life. For younger learners, I bring in games, storytelling and visual activities to keep energy high and make learning feel natural. For adults, lessons are more conversational and goal-focused, whether that is preparing for a job interview, improving written communication, or simply becoming more fluent and confident in daily situations.

Depending on the student's needs, lessons can cover speaking and pronunciation, reading comprehension, grammar in context, listening exercises, vocabulary building. Each student receives a clear structure so they always know what we are working on and why, but there is always room to be flexible if something comes up in the moment that is worth exploring. I also feel that when you learn a language, you also learn the culture so I make an effort to make sure my student learns that cultural norms here in the UK!

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and judgement-free. I want every student to feel comfortable making mistakes. I give clear, constructive feedback without making anyone feel embarrassed or discouraged. For children especially, I make sure sessions are encouraging and fun so they actually look forward to their lessons rather than dreading them.

I have taught English to learners from a wide range of backgrounds, nationalities and age groups. I have worked with young children who are just beginning their English journey, teenagers navigating school demands, and adults at various stages, from complete beginners to near-fluent speakers looking to polish their language. I am experienced in adapting my pace, tone and materials to suit each individual, and I am comfortable working with students who have had negative experiences with language learning in the past and need a more patient, confidence-building approach.

Every student I work with gets my full attention, personalised feedback, and a genuine commitment to helping them make progress they can actually feel.
