Amal Jasmine

My name is Amal Jasmine and I enjoy teaching English in a clear and easy way that helps students understand better. I have one year of experience working at a tuition centre where I taught secondary school students as an English graduate. During this time I learned how to make lessons interactive and enjoyable so that students stay attentive and interested in learning.

My teaching method is based on interaction, creativity and real-life connection. Instead of only focusing on textbook learning I use activities, games, and examples from everyday life to help students understand better. For example, when teaching topics like nature or daily life I connect lessons with real experiences such as family moments, outdoor activities or childhood memories. This helps students relate the subject to their own lives making learning more meaningful and memorable.

I believe students learn best when they are actively involved so I encourage participation, discussion and curiosity in every class. My goal is to build confidence in students, improve their communication skills and make english learning simple and enjoyable. I always try to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves freely.

I believe students learn best when they actively participate so I encourage discussion and speaking practice in every class more than just learning grammar or lessons in text books I focus on building speaking confidence and removing stage fear. During my BA English Literature we had speaking sessions where on spot topics were given and we had to speak in front of class where this helped me correct mistakes and become more fluent and confident in English.
