I offer English lessons for adults that are tailored entirely to your everyday life. My lessons focus on speaking: we have relaxed conversations about topics that are truly relevant to you – everyday life, travel, hobbies, or work-related situations such as meetings, emails and presentations.

My approach is practical and conversation-based. We work with short texts, small exercises and plenty of real-life examples. As we speak, I will correct you, explain grammar and vocabulary in a way that’s easy to understand, and provide you with phrases you can use right away.

I have worked in with many people in different environments for over 20 years and now as a resident of Germany I am familiar with the typical difficulties German speakers face when using English. That is why I structure my lessons clearly, but without putting any pressure. I prefer steady, small steps to stress and frustration.

Lessons take place one-to-one online, so you have plenty of time to speak in every session. We set your goals together and regularly adjust the pace, content and level of difficulty – so you can feel yourself becoming more confident with every lesson.
