Hi, I am Shalini Maulik, and I would love to help your child build a strong foundation in English online — from early language exposure for toddlers to structured learning up through Grade 10. I speak Bengali, Hindi, English, and German, and I'm currently learning German myself, which gives me real insight into how children (and adults!) absorb a new language step by step. My teaching style is patient, playful, and age-appropriate: for younger children, I focus on listening, speaking, and simple vocabulary through songs, stories, and games; for older primary-level students, I build on grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I offer both one-on-one and group sessions, so families can choose whatever suits their child best.
Kenntnisse und Erfahrung:
English has been my primary working language throughout my professional life, and I have a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and everyday communication (C1 level). I also have hands-on tutoring experience from India, where I taught primary school through Class 10 students in English, and I understand how important early language development is. I enjoy creating a warm, encouraging environment where children feel confident to speak without fear of mistakes. All lessons are conducted online and adapted to each child's age and level — from basic phonics and vocabulary-building for toddlers, to reading, writing, and comprehension support for children up to Grade 10, available as individual or group sessions.
