I'm an engaging teacher. I try to make lessons based on the individual students needs and interests. I have taught English online for 2 years and have some great reviews, which I am happy to provide if requested.
This year I am specialsing in Business English training, but also take students for regular English tutoring.
Corrections are an important part of learning, and I like to be constructive and supportive when giving corrections. I do so by repeating the word, phrase or sentence and using intonation to show the student the correct pronunciation or word stress.
I am particularly interested in teaching students who are based in Germany as I am wanting to obtain my Freiberufler status to move there and teach face to face as well as online. In order to do the application I require more students who live there. I also speak some German which my students there find helpful if they are stuck with the translation of a word or phrase. That doesn't mean I won't teach you of you live in another country though! ??
I have a positive character and like to coach and mentor my students so that they can feel comfortable in the lessons and learn to their very best ability.
In my lessons I encourage the student to talk as much as possible, as that really is the best way to learn and to grow conference in the language.
This is my career and not a hobby, therefore my hourly rate is set to reflect that, along with my skills and experience.
