My teaching approach is highly interactive, student-centered, and grounded in practical communication skills.
I firmly believe that language learning should be engaging, always with a specific objective in mind for each class. Therefore, I use a blend of communicative language teaching (CLT) and task-based learning (TBL) to make sure that my students not only understand English grammar and vocabulary but can also apply them in real-life situations and use their skills pretty much immediately once they're developed.
In every class, I try to integrate the four core language skills - speaking, listening, grammar, and reading comprehension in a balanced way. For speaking, I use guided discussions, role-plays, and problem-solving activities to build fluency and confidence to encourage my students to express ideas freely while receiving constructive feedback.
Listening activities include authentic audio materials such as interviews, podcasts, and dialogues to expose learners to different accents, speeds, and contexts, training them to extract meaning effectively.
For grammar I choose an inductive approach, where students notice patterns and rules through examples before practicing them in structured exercises and then applying them in free communication while also learning the theoretical rules behind each concept.
For reading comprehension, I select texts relevant to my students' interests and goals to make the learning process more enjoyable. For advanced learners, I also integrate strategies such as skimming for the main idea and scanning for details to build both speed and accuracy (usually for exam preparation).
My classroom dynamic is inclusive, supportive, and adaptive to different learning styles - I welcome and enjoy working with students of any background and time commitment. I try my best to provide a safe environment where mistakes are seen as normal, essential steps in learning, and try to encourage my students to collaborate through pair work and group activities (if applicable).
I like incorporating visual aids and digital tools to keep classes varied and stimulating for all age groups. My teaching experience has shown me that consistent, active engagement with the language, coupled with clear, achievable objectives, leads to rapid progress.
Structured skill development paired with opportunities for creative expression helps students leave each class with both the knowledge and the confidence to use English in their daily lives - which is my most important objective.
Let's learn together! :)
