My classes don't begin with a textbook — they begin with a question. Before diving into content, I take time to understand exactly where each student is: what they've grasped, what they've memorised without understanding, and what's quietly holding them back. Every lesson is built around that diagnosis.
From there, we work concept-first. I believe a student who truly understands why something happens will always outperform one who has simply memorised what to write. So I explain the underlying idea clearly — using visuals, diagrams, and real-world examples drawn from actual science — before we ever touch a practice question. Chemistry stops feeling abstract when you can see it.
Lessons are interactive by design. I ask questions, invite thinking aloud, and push students to reason through problems rather than reach for a formula. Once a concept clicks, we move straight into application — progressively harder problems, structured feedback, and past paper practice tailored to the exact board and grade level, whether that's Cambridge IGCSE, IB, EdExcel, or AP.
What students consistently find is that confidence follows understanding. By the time we approach an exam, the goal isn't to survive it — it's to walk in knowing the material deeply enough to handle anything on the paper. That's the standard I hold every session to.
