My teaching philosophy revolves around making the students appreciate the nuanced concepts of Finance in the most accessible manner. I strongly believe in motivating and drawing students into conversations. I primarily focus on making students feel non hesitant to answer and participate in conversation, so that the fear of making mistakes get done away with from their within. This forges trust and self belief which goes a long way in embolding their spirits and in fostering constructive learning. The pedagogy that I follow while teaching is generous use of cases studies, real life examples and Online teaching tools like the Pentab, along with the PowerPoint presentations. I start my sessions with a friendly interactions, especially for the new cohort so that I can understand how initiated students actually are towards the world of Finance. This helps me in structuring my sessions in a way that let them understand intricate concepts like the need of Financial Management, Planning, Budgeting, Capital decisions, Investment Management, Financial Analysis, VUCA management, Financial Accounting, Working Capital Management, Personal Finance, Fixed income securities, DCF valuations etc in the most lucid manner . My aim is not just to teach Finance but to make students cherish the learning process so that the wonderful subject of Finance stays with them throughout their lives. I possess good communication skills ,eloquence and a charming disposition. This helps me in striking a cord with my students early on. I have been actively associated with a few leading Edutech companies and international Universities as well as an Online Professor of Finance . This exposure makes me well conversant with the Online teaching methods and tools.
