My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level, curriculum, and learning goals. I begin by identifying the topics the student finds difficult and clarifying what they want to achieve. I then explain key concepts in a clear, step-by-step way, using diagrams, clinical examples, case-based discussions, and practice questions to make complex medical topics easier to understand.

I can teach anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, biochemistry, microbiology, clinical medicine, dermatology, evidence-based medicine and research methodology. Depending on the student’s needs, lessons may focus on understanding core principles, preparing for examinations, improving clinical reasoning, reviewing difficult topics, or developing an effective study plan.

My teaching style is supportive but focused. I encourage students to ask questions, think aloud, and apply what they have learned rather than simply memorising facts. During each session, I check understanding regularly, correct misconceptions, and adapt the pace and teaching method as needed. I also provide practical feedback and suggestions for further revision.

I am a physician with an MBBS, an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, and an MSc in Dermatology with Distinction from the University of South Wales. I have taught medical students and postgraduate healthcare professionals through university teaching, clinical preceptorship, online tutoring, and medical education roles. My experience includes teaching with the University of South Wales, Johns Hopkins University, Wyzant, and Medmastery, as well as postdoctoral research experience at Johns Hopkins and Mayo Clinic.
