A seasoned science tutor with over eight years of teaching experience.

I have a Micro Master in Improvement Science of Education from the University of Michigan School of Education, United States of America and a Bachelor of Science Education in Chemistry with over six years of teaching experience in the educational sector. I have tutored students in an online environment. I have experience teaching learners from grade 5 to 12.

I currently work independently as the Chief Executive Officer at Light Bearers Educational Consultancy with the goal of providing students with the necessary tools to achieve academic goals, instilling a love of learning and cooperative team work.

All through my career I have worked as a Science Educator. I taught Science in Grade 5, Mathematics in Grade 9 and Chemistry in Grade 11. I assisted in integrating the Nigerian curriculum with the British curriculum to create a blended science curriculum lesson plan. I ensured that engaging science lessons were delivered to diverse groups of learners by following approved teaching and learning guidelines. I reviewed the existing curriculum to accommodate engagement, enhancement and extension of learning content. I taught the concept of chemistry in a simplified way that helps easy assimilation and better understanding of learning content. I am conversant with the Nigerian, British, American and International Baccalaureate curricula.

I recorded an overall 95% academic success based on my learners' performance, ranging from the internal school examination to the external school examination, which include: The West African Secondary School Examination, The National Secondary School Examination, The International General Certificate Secondary Examination, The Scholastic Aptitude Test, e.t.c.

I have applied my science knowledge during teaching class. My simplicity in teaching the concept of science-related subjects has led to the overall improvement in my students' academic performance. I use PowerPoint presentation to explain my lessons with the aid of the Intellectual Property Board. My success stories include:


1. At Jewels Leading Lights Academy
95% of my 25 students in Grade 9 scored distinctions (A) in the Cambridge International Examination % of my 15 students in Grade 11 scored distinctions (A) in the Cambridge International Examination, 2024. Also, I assisted in integrating the Nigerian curriculum with the British curriculum to create a blended curriculum chemistry lesson plan.

2. At Silver Valley International College:
I am a WAEC/NECO examiner. Two of my students scored 90 points out of 100 points in the Chemistry Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted in % of my 25 students scored distinctions (A) in the West African Secondary School Examination ( ) and 80% scored above 85 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination % of my 25 students scored distinctions (A) in the Cambridge International Examination, 2022. I helped to increase the student population from 90 when I joined to 200, as at August 2023.

3. At Best Option Advancement Limited
80% of my 40 students scored distinctions (A) in their Joint University Preliminary Examination conducted in September 2020 and 85% of distinctions were recorded in July 2021 at Ilorin, Kwara State. I also increased the student population by 70% in 2020 and 80% in % of my learners have gained admission into the tertiary institutions, studying the courses of their choice.

4. At Nempi Secondary School
95% of my 75 students scored distinctions (A) in the West African Senior Secondary Examination and National Examination, 2019.

5. At Great Stars Academy
80% of my 25 students scored distinctions in the West African Senior Secondary Examination, 2018. I helped to increase the pupil population from 100 when I joined to 150, as in July 2018.
