Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics), Environmental Science, Geology teacher, not in German, but in English

I am Katalin, and I love teaching science because it helps students make sense of the world around them. My career has taken me from marine research and university classrooms to international schools, where I have had the opportunity to teach students from many different cultures and backgrounds. At ELTE University I lectured in geology, oceanography, and environmental science to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students while supervising research projects. More recently, I have taught IBDP Environmental Systems and Societies, IGCSE Chemistry, IGCSE Geography, Cambridge Coordinated Science, Environmental Management, Geography, and Primary Science. My teaching philosophy is based on inquiry, cooperation, and real-world learning. I believe students learn best when they explore real environmental challenges, take part in fieldwork, ask lots of questions, and see how science connects to everyday life. Teaching in different countries has helped me become a more flexible and understanding teacher, and I always try to create a classroom where everyone feels comfortable to speak up, make mistakes, and enjoy the the learning process. I want my students to become curious, confident learners who aren't afraid to think for themselves and use science to better understand the world around them.
