My lessons are calm, friendly, and easy to follow. I mainly teach children aged 6–12 who need help with basic maths, homework, revision, or simply more confidence in the classroom. I understand that many children feel nervous when they see numbers, so my first goal is always to make them feel comfortable.
In the beginning, I try to understand the child’s level, what they are learning at school, and where they are struggling. Then I explain the topic slowly, step by step, using simple examples from daily life. For example, I explain fractions with pizza slices, percentages with shopping discounts, and word problems by breaking them into small, clear parts.
A normal lesson includes a short explanation, practice together, and a few exercises for the child to try independently. I always encourage questions and mistakes, because that is how children learn best. I want the child to feel safe, not judged.
As a Master’s student in Data Analytics, I work with numbers, logic, and problem-solving every day. I use that strength to explain maths in a simple and structured way. Along with basic maths, I can also support children of the same age with basic English, reading, vocabulary, and simple grammar.
My aim is not just to help children get better marks, but to help them feel: “I can do this.”
