Science Tutor in English – Biology, Chemistry & Physics – Cambridge, IGCSE & IB

With 11 years of experience as a Science teacher, I provide engaging, structured, and personalised online lessons in English for students of different ages, abilities, and learning needs. I teach General Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and I have experience with the K–12 curriculum, Cambridge Lower Secondary, British National Curriculum, IGCSE, and IB programmes. Each lesson begins by identifying the student's learning goals and areas that need improvement. I then explain concepts step by step, using clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, questions, and practical applications to make Science easier to understand and remember. My approach focuses not only on helping students get the correct answer, but on developing a deep understanding of scientific concepts, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence. I adapt my teaching strategies, pace, and activities according to each student's individual learning style and level. I can also provide support with homework, assignments, projects, revision, assessments, and exam preparation, including IGCSE and IB Science. At the end of each lesson, we review the key concepts and identify what the student should continue practising. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and become more confident in Science. Lessons are conducted online in English, making them particularly suitable for students attending international schools or studying Science through an English-medium curriculum.
