Hello, my name is Fredrick Ilori, and I have been teaching English for more than 15 years in Turkey, working with students from middle school to high school, as well as IB and AP learners. My goal as a teacher is to create lessons that are clear, motivating, and tailored to each student’s needs, so that learning English becomes both effective and enjoyable. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of programs including literature, business management, economics (IB & AP), TOEFL, IELTS, PET, and FCE preparation. I also help students strengthen their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills with practical techniques such as the flipped classroom approach, consistent pair work, and engaging debates. I understand that every learner has different goals—whether it’s improving fluency for everyday communication, preparing for international exams, or excelling in academic writing. My experience as a Cambridge-certified oral examiner ensures I can guide students effectively toward success in both school and official exams. Most importantly, I strive to build confidence in my students. I encourage them to express themselves freely in English, support them with constructive feedback, and create a friendly, motivating environment. My aim is not just to teach English, but to help students discover how language can open doors to new opportunities.
