Nathan Laud

My name is Nathan. I am a certified ESL tutor with TEFL/TESOL qualifications. I have been teaching English for more than 5 years, and have experience working with A1-C1 level students. As someone who speaks a second language and has lived abroad, I understand the difficulties involved in learning a new language and how daunting it can be at times. This has also allowed me to find the best way to learn any language.

I believe that learning a language should be a pleasant and an upbuilding experience and - in my lessons - I try to make it enjoyable, engaging, and relaxing. My lessons are carefully catered to each student's linguistic needs and delivered accordingly so that you will leave each lesson having learnt something new and with a better understanding of the English language. You will also have plenty of opportunities to practise what you already know and have learnt through conversational exercises.

Learning any language is a personal journey, one that gives you a different perspective on day-to-day life. As such, I believe that it is important to take the time to get to know each student, asking them questions about their likes, dislikes and their activities outside of the classroom, assessing their language skills and patiently taking the time to go over the mistakes they might make, also looking at sentence structure, grammar and pronunciation in a relaxed setting. This will allow the student to fully benefit from the course provided in a stress-free environment with little to no expectations placed on them.
