English Lehrerin / Tutor, der Kinder alles Altegruppen unterrischt

Hello, my name is Shivani Patel. I'm originally from India, and I recently completed my Master’s degree in Micro and Nano Technologies from the Technical University of Ilmenau in Germany. Over the past few years, alongside my academic journey, I’ve developed a strong passion for teaching English. I’ve worked as a freelance English tutor from 2021 to 2024, where I taught both school students and adults—helping them improve their grammar, vocabulary, and spoken fluency. I also volunteered at Fraunhofer FOKUS in Berlin, where I taught English to non-native speakers from diverse backgrounds, using interactive methods like role plays and real-life scenarios to make lessons engaging and practical. My teaching style is student-centered and adaptable. I focus on building confidence in communication, which I believe is just as important as accuracy in language. I’m fluent in English at a C1 level (IELTS 7.5), currently pursuing a TEFL certification, and also speak intermediate German. Outside of teaching, I’ve worked in project and product management roles at Vodafone and Doctolib, which helped me refine my communication, organizational, and leadership skills—traits that I bring into my classroom as well.
