My lessons are structured, student-centered, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding. I begin each lesson by identifying the student’s current level, learning goals, and any gaps in foundational knowledge. This allows me to tailor instruction to each student’s needs and learning style.

I emphasize understanding concepts before applying procedures. Students are guided to see why a method works, not just how to use it. Lessons typically include clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. I regularly check for understanding by asking students to explain their reasoning and reflect on their strategies. This approach helps students build confidence and long-term retention.

I have been teaching mathematics since 2014 as both a private tutor and a classroom teacher. I have experience working with middle school and high school students across different curricula, each with its own structure and expectations. Many of my tutoring relationships are long-term, and I often support students from the early stages of learning through graduation.

My lesson dynamics are interactive, supportive, and goal-oriented. I create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I adapt pacing and teaching methods as students progress, gradually increasing complexity once foundational skills are solid. I believe consistency, patience, and clear communication are essential for effective learning, and I strive to help students develop both strong mathematical skills and confidence in their abilities.
