I use specialized educational materials to teach Arabic to non-native speakers. These materials include pictures of words along with pronunciation exercises to connect letters and words, and to practice pronunciation. Practice is the key to learning. Learning a language becomes very easy when we follow the sounds. It's not about literal translation, because every language has its own unique character. The lecture can be recorded for later review, but true learning involves speaking like a native speaker. The idea behind learning with someone who understands the local context is to be influenced by it, to learn everything accurately, closely, and in an intensive, personalized way.
