My approach to tutoring is simple: we are partners working toward your goals. As someone currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Sustainable Architecture and with two years of professional experience as an architect, I bring a practical, learning-by-doing mindset to every session.
Teaching methods
I believe in practical application. Whether we are discussing English or technical design, I avoid dry lectures. Instead, we use real-world examples. If we are working on English, we look at actual texts or writing prompts that interest you. If we are working on AutoCAD, we open a project file and troubleshoot the drawing process together. I focus on adapting to your learning style, ensuring the pace matches your needs rather than following a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Content
In our English sessions, I help you build confidence in your voice. Having taken part in short story competitions and serving as an editor for my alumni magazine, I have a deep appreciation for the craft of writing. I can help you with structuring arguments, refining your grammar, or simply making your writing more engaging and clear. For AutoCAD, which I have used since 2021, I focus on the tools and commands you actually need to be efficient. I teach you the workflows that bridge the gap between academic exercises and professional architectural practice.
Lesson dynamics
My sessions are interactive and conversational. I view our time together as a collaboration. We start by identifying your specific goals, so you always know exactly what we are working toward. During the lesson, I encourage questions and experimentation. I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes because that is where the real learning happens. You can expect a supportive environment where we tackle challenges one step at a time until you are ready to work independently.
My experience
I have spent the last few years honing my skills through consistent, hands-on practice. My two years working as an architect gave me a deep understanding of how to translate concepts into precise drawings using AutoCAD. My involvement in short story competitions and my role as an alumni magazine editor have given me a sharp eye for storytelling and clarity in writing. I bring this real-world experience, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed to every student I work with.
