I am a chilean Artist, Filmmaker and Master Student living in Germany. I speak Spanish as mothertongue and English and German as foreign languages. I have a wide experience learning languages and a big passion for it.
I want to facilitate people to learn and use the Spanish language in the everyday, in their workplaces, studies or with the soanish speaking community they are surrounded by.
My approach to teaching consists in letting the student get in touch with the language in a personal way and following their own rythm. I believe in the inmersive experience of learnig, meaning that one should not use any mean of translation to other languages during the classes. However, sometimes it is useful to be aware of how different or similar grammar structures can be between languages and in that cases can be useful to translate or compare certain vocabularies or theoretical topics.
I think everybody has the potencial to learn a new language and master it, as long as they can connect with the process of learning personally and to enjoy the journey. In my classes we will talk about topics that are important for the students, with the purpose of builiding a personal connection to the language.
