Luiz Krawiec

I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and this is the beginning of my professional journey as a tutor. Although I am starting in a formal teaching role, I have experience helping students on a voluntary basis through the Talk and Talk English learning community, where I support learners by practicing conversation and explaining language concepts in a clear and simple way.

I also study English regularly and I am continuously improving my communication skills, which helps me effectively teach Portuguese to international students. This ongoing learning process allows me to better understand the challenges that language learners face and adapt my explanations accordingly.

My teaching approach is focused on practical communication. I structure my lessons to be simple, interactive, and adapted to each student’s level and goals. For beginners, I focus on essential vocabulary, pronunciation, and real-life situations such as travel and daily conversations. For more advanced students, I emphasize conversation, fluency, and confidence.

A typical lesson includes a short introduction or warm-up, followed by guided practice, conversation exercises, and personalized feedback. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes. I also encourage active participation, so students can build confidence naturally while practicing the language.

Even though I am at the beginning of my teaching career, I am highly motivated, patient, and committed to helping students achieve their goals in a practical and enjoyable way. I am also reliable, organized, and focused on delivering consistent and high-quality lessons to every student.
