My teaching approach is based on real-life tasks and practical situations that students can use in their everyday lives. I use repetition, pattern recognition, and guided speaking practice to help students understand how Portuguese works and feel more comfortable using it.
I also focus a lot on confidence. Many students are afraid of making mistakes or feel shy when they speak, so I create a supportive environment where they can practice, try, repeat, and improve without fear. My goal is to help students trust themselves, speak more naturally, and enjoy the learning process instead of feeling anxious about it.
Brazilian culture is also an important part of my lessons. Through music, everyday expressions, traditions, food, humor, and real communication, students can connect with the language in a more meaningful way. I want them not only to learn Portuguese, but also to enjoy the process and discover how warm, rich, and joyful Brazilian culture can be.
