Karina Simon

I am a native Spanish teacher from Argentina, with over 20 years of experience teaching students of all ages, levels, and abilities.

I am based in the United Kingdom and have had the pleasure of teaching students from around the world, including Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and Monaco. I specialise in teaching Spanish from beginner to advanced levels, including GCSE & A-level helping students develop confidence and fluency in real-life communication. I also teach French to beginner level.

My lessons combine pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, and writing, while exploring real-life language and culture.

I am a friendly and approachable teacher, and my aim is to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental learning environment where every student feels comfortable and confident. I believe that making mistakes is a natural and important part of learning, so I encourage my students to express themselves freely and enjoy the process. I teach because I love helping learners build confidence, discover new cultures, achieve their personal goals, and experience the joy of communicating in another language. Seeing my students make progress and become more confident speakers is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a language teacher.
