My Chinese classes are dynamic, structured, and student-centered, designed to build both confidence and practical ability. A typical lesson is a balanced mix of essential components: we might start with a short review, then introduce new vocabulary and key grammatical structures through real-life scenarios, followed by interactive practice, and conclude with a clear summary and goal for the next session.

The classroom dynamics are always interactive and supportive. I see my role as a facilitator rather than a lecturer. I prioritize creating a comfortable atmosphere where students feel encouraged to speak and make mistakes, which is crucial for language acquisition. A significant part of my methodology involves drawing clear comparisons between German and Chinese linguistic structures, which helps German speakers intuitively grasp challenging concepts like tones, sentence order, or the use of particles.

The content is highly practical and tailored to students' goals, whether for travel, business, or academic exams like HSK. I use a variety of authentic materials, from short video clips and news articles to role-playing exercises, to make the language come alive. My years of teaching experience have honed my ability to patiently identify and address individual stumbling blocks, ensuring steady progress.
