In my online Arabic lessons, I deliver interactive Arabic lessons using visual aids, real-life examples, and student-centered activities to build listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
I follow an interactive and student-centered approach that focuses on developing the four core language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Each lesson is structured as follows:
1. Pre-Lesson Preparation:
• I share a brief overview of the lesson in advance, along with key vocabulary or warm-up exercises.
• I use tools like Google Classroom or email to manage assignments and materials.
2. Lesson Introduction (5 minutes):
• A quick review of the previous lesson.
• A warm-up question or short activity to engage the student and activate prior knowledge.
3. Lesson Presentation (20–30 minutes):
• I use visual aids such as slides, short videos, and illustrations to explain new concepts.
• I incorporate interactive tools like Kahoot or Quizlet to keep the lesson dynamic and engaging.
4. Practice and Application (15–20 minutes):
• Students engage in exercises such as sentence building, reading short texts, or speaking tasks.
• I provide immediate, constructive feedback to help them improve in real time.
5. Conclusion (5 minutes):
• A quick summary of the key points covered.
• I assign a simple homework task or follow-up activity, explaining how to complete it.
6. Follow-Up:
• I track student progress weekly through short assessments or quizzes.
• I remain available for questions outside of class through messaging platforms or discussion groups.
Above all, I aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel confident to practice and improve their Arabic language skills. I believe consistency, clarity, and kindness are key to successful online teaching.
