I am a composer, filmmaker and music educator with an Integrated Master’s Degree in Classical Composition from the Ionian University. I have experience teaching children and young people aged 5–14, and I enjoy helping students understand music while developing their creativity, confidence and individual artistic voice.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, current level, interests and personal goals. Whether you are beginning your musical journey, preparing for examinations, strengthening your theoretical knowledge or developing your own compositions, we will work together at a pace that feels both comfortable and motivating.
Depending on your needs, I can teach music theory, harmony, counterpoint, composition, musical analysis, orchestration and ear training. Lessons combine clear explanations with practical exercises, listening examples and creative activities. Rather than simply memorising rules, students learn how musical ideas function and how to apply them to music they perform, study, or create.
For composition students, I can offer guidance throughout the creative process—from developing an initial idea and exploring form, rhythm, melody and harmony to refining a completed piece. My interdisciplinary experience in cinema, theatre and contemporary artistic projects also allows me to support students interested in music for film, storytelling and other art forms.
I aim to create a patient, encouraging and open learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, experimenting and making mistakes. Lessons are available online in English or Greek and can be adapted for beginners, children, teenagers, adults and more advanced learners. Together, we can build strong musical foundations while keeping learning engaging, personal, practical and creatively rewarding.
