I also like to incorporate cultural aspects into lessons as I believe learning a language through a cultural and historical context helps to understand the language more - something which has proven effective within my English language assistant role in Germany.
Every lesson will begin with a warm up to refresh a students memory and get them into the headspace to learn German. Homework is optional depending on if the student feels like they would benefit from this and if they would have the time for it!
