I am Christel, a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines with over 13 years of online English teaching experience. I am TESOL-certified and IB PYP-trained, bringing global teaching standards to every class. I have also completed training in teaching TOEFL iBT, equipping learners for success in their examinations. Currently residing in Japan, part of my role here involves hosting on-site events for children, which include presentations, singing performances, craft-making, and seasonal activities that encourage students to use English as they explore the world. With over a decade of online teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to utilize effective tools, technologies, and teaching approaches suited to each student’s pace, age, and learning style. I design curricula that guide students toward producing meaningful outputs such as online projects, presentations, and speeches.
