I have 25 year+ experience of teaching English in both the private and state sector, with expertise in a variety of ages (children, teenagers, adults) and backgrounds (individual bodies and companies).
For me, teaching is a perpetual act of becoming. It is not merely a profession but a living inquiry — one in which the boundary between teacher and learner dissolves with every meaningful exchange. My approach to education is holistic by conviction: I believe that knowledge cannot be meaningfully separated from the person who holds it, shaped as it always is by emotion, experience, identity, and context.
I am deeply fascinated by the question of how human beings learn across the arc of a lifetime — particularly in maturity, when learning becomes less about acquisition and more about integration, reinterpretation, and sometimes, profound unlearning. At this stage, cultural heritage and personal history do not merely influence the learning process — they are the lens through which all new understanding is filtered, negotiated, and ultimately owned.
My greatest passion beyond the classroom is exploration — not only of the world's landscapes, peoples, and traditions, but of the vast and often uncharted territory of the inner life. I find that these two journeys are inseparable: the more honestly one explores inward, the richer and more empathetic one's engagement with the world becomes.
