I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MSc in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). My additional training includes certification in Managing ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Concussion in School from the University of Colorado, Counseling Skills training through KinitroNGO, and further education in learning support and developmental psychology (EVDOKIMOS).
My professional experience combines psychology, education, and performance development. I have completed internships in diverse psychological settings, including the Perinatal Mental Health Center FAINARETI in Athens, Hikari Cheerleading Club in Rotterdam, where I worked on athlete wellbeing and organizational development, and Climbing Psychology org. in Austria. Following these experiences, I have continued working within educational settings as a pedagogical educator, tutor, learning support professional, and freelance psychologist.
For over eight years, I have worked with children and young adults across a variety of environments, including sports coaching, dance education, after-school programs, and international schools. Most recently, I have worked within two of Amsterdam's leading international schools, ISA and Amity International School Amsterdam, supporting students with diverse learning, developmental, and performance needs.
My approach is practical, collaborative, and goal-oriented. Our first session is a conversation where we explore your strengths, challenges, experiences, and the areas you would like to improve. Think of it as an interview where you are the main character-we take the time to understand your story before deciding where to go next.
During the first and second sessions, we work together to identify recurring patterns, clarify priorities, and define what meaningful progress would look like for you. By the third session, we will typically have a clearer picture of your goals and a personalized action plan that we can start working on together.
I understand that many people may feel hesitant about psychology or therapy, especially if they expect immediate answers. However, meaningful change takes time. Rather than rushing to conclusions, I believe in building a solid understanding of your situation first. Once we have that foundation, we can set measurable goals and track progress together, allowing both of us to evaluate what is working and where adjustments may be needed. Throughout the process, we also make space for the wider aspects of life that influence wellbeing and performance, because personal growth rarely happens in isolation.
