English for all levels with a CELTA certified teacher

My name is Meryem, and I come from a multicultural background. I am a native Romanian and Turkish speaker, and English has always been an important part of my life. I hold a CELTA certificate to teach English to other speakers and have experience teaching English at weekend academies and in camp-based programs across Germany.

In addition to teaching, I have supported Master’s students with academic English, including thesis writing and the review of scholarly articles. This experience has strengthened my ability to work with higher-level learners and formal academic language.

Depending on your level and learning goals, we will create a personalised learning plan together. In the first lesson, we start with a relaxed conversation to assess your level and identify your needs, free of charge. Lessons focus on engaging, level-appropriate communication. For B1 level and above, I include discussions and debates to build fluency and confidence. For primary school students, I also offer support with English homework and school-related tasks in a clear and encouraging way.

Upon request, I also offer Turkish lessons, with one year of experience teaching Turkish to primary-level students. I adapt my teaching to all age groups. Lessons are offered online, and in person within NRW if the student’s location is close to my city.
