I am Douaa, holder of a Master's degree in Modern and Contemporary Arabic Literature. My teaching experience extends over three years, during which I have taught students of various ages and levels, both face-to-face and online. I believe that the Arabic language is not merely rigid grammar rules, but rather a spirit, a culture, and a way of life.
Teaching Methods:
I adopt an interactive approach tailored to each student's level. I begin with a quick assessment to identify strengths and weaknesses, then I create a flexible plan that combines:
· Simplified grammar explanations using mind maps and examples from daily life.
· Practical training through interactive exercises and simulated conversational situations.
· Motivation through short literary texts (poetry, prose, maqamat) to develop linguistic taste.
Lesson Content:
I select diverse content that suits the learning objective. For native Arabic speakers, I focus on mastering syntax (i'rab), rhetoric, and analysis of modern literary texts. For non-native speakers, I start with the basics (sounds, vocabulary, simple structures) then gradually move to conversation and writing. I also integrate digital tools such as presentations, short videos, and interactive language applications, thanks to my computer skills.
Lesson Dynamics:
A typical session lasts 60 minutes, distributed as follows:
· 10 minutes of quick review.
· 25 minutes explaining a new concept.
· 20 minutes of applications and activities.
· 5 minutes of assessment and summary.
I encourage asking questions at any time, and I offer optional weekly assignments that reinforce self-learning. I also track the student's progress through simple monthly reports.
My Additional Experience:
In addition to language teaching, my experience in e-commerce and programming (Full-Stack course) helps me design engaging digital materials and understand the needs of students who wish to learn Arabic for professional purposes (such as marketing and communicating with Arab clients).
Ultimately, my lessons are not just about memorization, but an enjoyable journey to discover the beauty of the Arabic language (Al-Dhad). If you are looking to improve your language confidently and enjoyably, you are in the right place.
