My lessons are designed to make Mathematics simple, engaging, and confidence-building for children. I teach school-level Mathematics along with Abacus and Vedic Math techniques, depending on the child’s age, level, and learning goals.
I use a step-by-step and interactive approach rather than simply giving children formulas or answers. I first understand what the child already knows and where they need support, and then explain each concept using simple examples and guided practice.
For younger learners, I use mental math, Abacus-based techniques, visual methods, and practical examples to make numbers easier to understand. Vedic Math techniques can be introduced gradually to help children improve their calculation speed and learn alternative ways of solving problems.
A typical lesson may include:
* A short review of previously learned concepts
* Introduction or explanation of a new topic
* Worked examples and guided practice
* Interactive questions to check understanding
* Abacus or Vedic Math techniques where appropriate
* Practice exercises and homework support
* A quick recap at the end of the lesson

I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid of making mistakes. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adapted to each child's pace. I focus on helping students understand why an answer is correct, while gradually developing their accuracy, mental calculation skills, problem-solving ability, and confidence.
My professional background in pharmacy and life sciences has also given me strong analytical, research, and communication skills, which I bring into my teaching approach. I look forward to making Mathematics a subject that children can understand, practice, and enjoy.
