I believe for experience it is better to learn first to speak and when you can manage parts of the language, to start with the grammar. I do know there are very different ways to name thing in Latin America. For example "Straw" in Costa Rica we call it "pajilla". But there are different names for it, as are: pitillo (Colombia, Venezuela), sorbete (Ecuador, Perú, Argentina) y pajitain other South American countries. So I will try to provide some of the regionalisms I know to expand the richness of the language.
