Carlos Navarro

I am a PhD in Contemporary History and a university lecturer in Spanish Language and Civilization with several years of experience in higher education. I have taught undergraduate and graduate students in areas such as Spanish language, contemporary Spanish culture, political history, and cultural studies.

My teaching approach is structured, analytical, and student-centered. I combine grammar, vocabulary development, and conversation practice with work on texts, media, and current social and political issues. I place strong emphasis on clarity of expression, both written and oral, and help students build confidence when speaking Spanish.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and goals. I can support exam preparation, academic writing, oral presentations, professional Spanish, or advanced cultural analysis. For intermediate and advanced learners, I integrate authentic materials and focus on developing precision, argumentation skills, and cultural understanding.

My objective is not only to improve linguistic competence but also to encourage critical thinking and intellectual autonomy. Lessons are well organized, interactive, and tailored to ensure steady and measurable progress.
