For English lessons, I combine targeted grammar work with real conversation practice from the first session. For IELTS preparation specifically, I break the exam into its four components : Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking and work on each systematically, using real past papers and timed practice so students know exactly what to expect on exam day. I pay particular attention to Writing Task 2 and Speaking, which are where most students lose marks unnecessarily.
For Economics lessons, I focus on building genuine intuition for concepts rather than formula memorization. I connect theory to real-world examples , central bank decisions, market behaviour, trade policy so that Microeconomics and Macroeconomics feel logical rather than abstract. For exam preparation, I work through past problems step by step, teaching the student to recognize question types and structure their answers under time pressure.
My lessons are dynamic and interactive as I ask questions, I check understanding constantly, and I adjust pace based on the student's response. I do not lecture at students; I work with them. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, with the first session always focused on diagnosing the student's specific gaps and setting a clear goal for the sessions ahead.
I have supported peers through university-level economics coursework and have practical experience in economic research and data analysis from professional roles in Romania and Sweden.
