As a chemistry teacher, I create a learning environment where curiosity, scientific thinking, and hands-on exploration guide every lesson. My teaching approach blends clear conceptual explanations with practical activities, allowing children to understand not only what happens in a chemical process but why it happens. Drawing on my academic background in Chemistry (B.Sc., MG University) and my project experience in areas such as quality analysis of coconut oil and industrial chemical processes, I integrate real-life examples into my lessons to make abstract concepts accessible and engaging for young learners.
I structure each lesson to include a short interactive introduction, guided experimentation or visual demonstrations, and reflective discussions that build critical thinking. I strongly believe that children learn best when they are active participants, so I incorporate simple experiments, illustrations, storytelling, and inquiry-based questions to keep them involved. Safety, clarity, and age-appropriate content always shape my planning.
My experience working in team-based scientific projects and participating in programs like the Student Police Cadet Training has strengthened my organizational and leadership skills, which I bring into the classroom through well-structured lessons, classroom management strategies, and collaborative learning activities. I also make use of my strong analytical and organizational skills to break down complex topics into manageable steps, ensuring students feel confident as they explore new ideas.
Above all, I aim to spark children’s natural interest in science, encouraging them to observe, ask questions, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the world of chemistry.
