My lessons are active, not lecture-style. I focus on understanding first, memorising second. I break complex concepts into simple, clear steps and use real life examples to understand. Students are encouraged to ask questions anytime. I check understanding throughout the session with short exercises and discussion.
If something isn’t clear, we approach it in a different way until it clicks. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable saying, “I don’t get this”; that’s usually where the best learning happens.
We regularly review past material to strengthen long-term understanding, not just short-term exam prep.
I’ve worked with students of different levels and learning styles, so I’m used to adapting my approach. Some students need step by step structure, others need challenge and extension; I adjust accordingly.
My experience includes working in Edtech companies where I designed and developed interactive learning modules that broke down complex concepts into step-by-step, real-world applications. While I have loved innovating in digital education, now I want to work directly with students, observing their learning processes, and providing personalised support, something that classroom teaching allows fully. I aim to combine my experience in curriculum design, differentiated instruction, and student engagement strategies with face-to-face teaching to help learners of all levels achieve confidence and mastery in mathematics. And I am eager to transition my skills from EdTech to classroom teaching.
My aim isn’t just to help students pass a test — it’s to help them understand the subject, think more clearly, and feel capable tackling problems on their own.
