My Teaching Concept: Understanding Instead of Memorization
I teach mathematics not as a collection of rules, but as a tool for solving real problems. My method combines three pillars:
1. Conceptual Clarity – Before solving problems, I build solid understanding. Why does this formula work? Where do we use it? With visualizations, real examples, and step-by-step development, we make abstract concepts tangible.
2. Practical Application – I use examples from finance, statistics, and data analysis to show where mathematics applies in the real world. This makes math relevant and interesting.
3. Individualized Pacing – Every student learns differently. I adjust pace, explanation style, and difficulty level to your learning speed, whether basics or advanced topics.
My Expertise: MSc in Operations Research & Business Analytics with specializations in statistics, financial mathematics, time-series analysis, and probability. Hands-on background in real financial applications.
Teaching Format: 1:1 online or in-person (Berlin), flexible schedules. Before each session we clarify goals; after each session you get practice materials to deepen your understanding.
