In my experience an Accounting tutor, students struggled to grasp the connection between theoretical journal entries and real-world cash flow. So, I design projects to overcome this.

I focus on building foundational fluency through these principles:
- The Accounting Equation (A = L + OE)
- The double entry
- The accounting concepts
- Journal entries posting
- Real-world software exposure using free educational versions of QuickBooks Online or Xero, preparing students for college.

Over the past 6 months, I worked as a private online Accounting tutor for secondary school students preparing for final exams (WAEC). Tutoring has taught me that high school students don’t need a perfect accountant – they need a patient translator.
I
